Wild 4th

Today July 4th, fireworks struck the State of Hockey. The top two premier free agents in hockey decided to join the Wild. They decided not to join for just one or two years but for 13, you heard me right 13 years 98 million dollars.

Zach Parise and Ryan Suter have agreed to come and play in the state of hockey. They will lace their skates in the Excel Energy Center for the next 13 years. Their hope with the strong young nucleus that is already in Minnesota that they can be a contender and even win the Stanley Cup a few times.

I couldn't be more excited now to get the hockey season started. Let's get the excitement going and start to think of hockey in the middle of the summer. All signs point to a great season and possibly many more for the Wild.

Enjoy the fireworks in the State of Hockey!
